Sadly, sadly I realized that my pattern for the antique red shawl wasn’t going to be large enough. Damn you guage calcualtion!
But it will work out alright, I think bottom up for this shawl will work better anyway. Don’t know what detail I am going to do on it but it will be boring old garter stitch for the body of it.
I also had a productive Sat night. I actually finished the mohair sweater. It’s from the stitch n bitch book but I can’t recall the name…to dye for…that’s it!~
I didn’t dye it myself cuz I loved the colors in the mohair I had. But oh am I excited to wear it! yay!

Whew! Today was the day George forced me to get control over my yarn storage in the garage. Funny how I was done over an hour ago & he is still cleaning up his own tools! ;p
Of course a picture of my clean set up is included below. As well as my mom’s poncho that I completed last night. Yay!
Now I just have to prioritize the rest of my projects to get them done. whew, that makes me breathe hard just thinking about it!
What a loser am I that I have not attended one stitch n bitch meeting of our local Santa Barbara group. As soon as Tracy, my bf, is here I think I will be motivated to be social. As it is the 4 in my fam to keep me company is more than enough.
l8r sK8r’s!

These projects are all the ones I have waiting in the wings. My yarn all goes through many stages. The new yarn stage, the “oh I know what I can use you for” stage, the “here are the needles to match you & the pattern” stage, then they make it into the big box basket, then get started & into the current project basket. Whew! My poor yarn!
