How freaking cool is Ebay?

I love Ebay! I love auctionsniper! Tracy & I decided that we needed to have some of hanpaintedyarn’s lace weight merino. So this is the auction we finally won! Yippee!!
Thank you so much Tracy for doing all the html magic on my blog here!! I’s so pretty!
Nothing on the knitting front today, oh, I lie. I did do about 2″ on the navy bag I am felting. I will do a picture of it. I have a goal of finishing the knitting on it tonight & felting it. I am going to try my hardest to finish it this weekend.
Today we got some bad news. Really close family member died, he was 92 & it was expected but it doesn’t make it any easier. So next week we will have the logistics of getting down to the funeral. Not sure when we will need to go. Could be tomorrow or in a week from now. It really depends on if my sister in law, Lydia, needs us in any way, shape or form. She will have a lot on her plate in the next weeks. Please keep the family in your thoughts & prayers, if you are so inclined
Thank you!! (Summers, we are in this together Girl!!)

Oh, sweetie, I’m so sorry for your loss — and I understand completely about how the *logistics* of a death in the family can make things so much worse.
This is a total cliche, but please let me know if I can help at all, ok? And you’re definitely all in my thoughts & prayers. ~hugs~
Take care of you, and I hope to see you soon, but I know you’ve got a lot to deal with in the next few days.
Love from,
Summers.

Ooh, I liiiiiiiiike the yarn you guys won! (Which auction-sniper do you use, btw?)
Also, your blog looks gorgeous — so gorgeous, in fact, that I don’t even mind that the button I modified is underneath a Knitters for Bush banner.
(Kidding! Friendship transcends politics, yes.)
Anyway, take care, and thanks for being such a darling and letting me escape to your lovely home lots this week. Er, not that it was just an escape — the joyousness of seeing you and Trace goes without saying. ~grin~
Ok, bye for now!
<3, Summers

Um, and yes, I do realize my first comment was far more appropriate than my second one — sorry, sweetie. I really hope you’re doing ok. Remember to lean on us if you need to — you do so much for other people, so don’t forget you’re allowed to ask for help, ok? ~more hugs~
Love, Summers.
