To all who order from handpaintedyarn.com

I am attaching a letter that I received entailing the intracacies of handpaintedyarn & sanfelipesantiago’s shipping process’. Here you go!
Dear Chauntel.
I am happy it arrived on time.
The operation is like this. All the orders received are sent the same day to the U.S.A. There are sorted and forwarded. The whole process take around ten days. It is not fast but to keep all the stock in the U.S.A and send directly from there it would add almost $2 per skein due to warehousing prices.
Worst thing of the delay is that if there is a problem it would usually take 10 more days to solve it. In your case the mistake was made in the U.S.A so your yarn was already there and could solved fast.
Bad thing. A lot of Americans want instant satisfaction and ten days looks like a lifetime to them. They can always go to a store and get it, but a lot do not take into account that.
Work was too much for my boss and I am here to improve communication, but delay will keep the same. I hope mistakes will be less too since I am here to help.
I am sure it will not a problem if you want roving in natural. Let me know how many grams you need. I am not sure price.
Regards
Antonio
Thank you to everyone for the Birthday wishes! It has been a great day!!

I love the bit about how ten days to an American is an eternity! So true, so true. Especially waiting for their yarn because it’s so wonderful. I love their responses to emails. October is a terribly long time to wait for yarn - and if it were any other yarn it might not be worth the wait - but I’ve always decided it was worth it in the end. Nothing is softer than Handpainted yarn. Thank you so much for sharing their email - and the company with me. I wish I still had my dad’s Irish hiking scarf out of their yarn. I definately need to make myself one too. Everyone needs an Irish hiking scarf made from handpainted merino I’ve decided. There’s nothing like it. I’ve placed another order from them. I wonder how long it will take for them to send me my “Christmas Green” (Can’t get enough green). If it comes before Easter I’ll be happy, but if it comes before Christmas (or within their 10 day turn around time) I will be very surprised. If I owned a yarn store I would invest loads of money in them, up the price, and sell out daily I’m sure.
